Our Impact on Lymphoma Research

Since becoming a registered charity in 2020, Lymphoma UK has awarded more than £60,000 in grants to leading medical researchers undertaking clinical cancer trials.

These trials are essential for identifying which treatments are most effective and for accelerating progress in the fight against lymphoma. We are proud to collaborate with some of the most respected clinicians and scientists in the field. Their expertise, combined with the generosity of our supporters, enables us to drive forward innovative research that has the potential to transform patient outcomes.

Over the years, we have funded a range of projects with one clear purpose: to advance lymphoma research and improve survival rates for future generations.

The ACCEPT Trial

One of the key projects we have supported is ACCEPT, a pioneering clinical trial investigating the use of circulating tumour DNA (ctDNA) in patients with lymphoma. By analysing ctDNA, researchers can assess how effective new treatments are at a much earlier stage, helping clinicians tailor therapies more precisely.

Thanks to the donations we have received, ACCEPT has already delivered highly promising results. Its success has led to the launch of a much larger followon study, REMoDLA, which aims to build on these findings and further refine treatment strategies.

The final results from the ACCEPT study — including the ctDNA analysis — are currently being written up and are expected to be published soon.
